The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) UK and Ireland aims to promote the positives in the Construction Industry as a whole. Run entirely by volunteers, we are committed to encouraging individuals to pursue, establish and sustain successful careers in construction. Our targets are: A shift of focus from gender to ability. Levelling the playing field across the industry. Ending of stereotypes. We support the development of our members, inspire the young to look at the industry as a valid source for a career whilst reaching out to our peers in order to deliver a real difference.
We have two regular newsletters: one to the network and one to members (corporate and individuals)
Women in BIM is a networking group to support and draw attention to the low number of women in BIM related roles in architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) and tech generally. Women in BIM’s mission is to create a global online community of female BIM and digital construction professionals.
The Federation of Master Builders is the largest trade association in the UK construction industry and has championed continuous improvement in building quality for over 75 years, with members having to fulfil strict criteria before joining and committing to abide by a stringent Code of Practice.
The FMB goes beyond simple checks and ratings. Instead, we independently inspect and vet our members to provide credible proof of their quality.
And we go further to provide ongoing training, contracts and warranty protection for the work. So whether you're a Master Builder or a client dreaming of a masterpiece, you're assured of a better experience.
